Bermuda Hundred Child Development Center
Since 1983

Visit from the Little Mermaid
Bermuda Hundred Child Development Center was originally started in 1983 by Mrs. Katie Sloan. Mrs. Sloan felt there was a strong need in the Enon community for a preschool that was affordable yet provided a quality education for young children in the area. She then set out to make her vision a reality.
Mrs. Sloan being a member of the Bermuda Hundred Methodist Church was granted permission to set up her school in the classrooms at the church.
After much planning and preparing BHCDC was born and has been a successful school for 30 years now!
Mrs. Sloan, herself, was Director of the school from 1983 to 2009. At the end of the 2009 school year, Mrs Sloan chose to step down as Director in order to pursue other goals and adventures. She is no longer on site every day but her spirit and love is still present within the school.
BHCDC is a non profit organization and relies on the loyal support of the church, community, teachers, and parents.
